Clean Eating Grocery List

Clean Eating Grocery List:

I have put together a quick grocery list to help you know what is good to start buying and keeping in your home to eat clean. I hope this list helps answer questions and make it easier for you.

VEGETABLES
GREEN VEGETABLES, SWEET POTATO, ONION, GARLIC, AVOCADO, GOURD

Adding more dark greens to your diet will help alkaline your body, which helps fight cancer, inflammation, and so much more.

 FRUIT
BERRIES, CITRUS, KIWI, BANANA, PAPAYA, POMEGRANATE, PINEAPPLE

Keeping lots of antioxidant rich fruits in your home to snack on will help keep you from snacking on unhealthy foods.

GRAINS
QUINOA, STEEL CUT OATS, BROWN RICE, AMARANTH, SPELT

Try replacing your normal rolled oats with steel cut. Replace white rice with brown.

RAW NUTS
ALMOND, PINE NUT, PECAN, WALNUT, CASHEW, PISTACHIO

Replacing salted processed nuts with raw nuts will help you get more from your nut. Try using fresh ground nut butters, or butters without added sugars and oils.

SEEDS
CHIA, PUMPKIN SEED, SUNFLOWER, FLAX, SESAME

Seeds such as chia are rich in Omegas, and can be added to smoothies, salads, or baked goods.

BEANS
BLACK BEANS, LENTIL, KIDNEY, SOY

Try switching out pinto beans for delicious black beans to double the nutritional value.
 DAIRY REPLACEMENT
UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK, COCONUT MILK, UNSWEETENED RICE MILK, GOAT CHEESE

Try cutting down on milk and adding almond milk to your diet. Almond milk has less fat, fewer calories, and added vitamins.

SWEETENERS
STEVIA, BROWN RICE SYRUP, PURE MAPLE SYRUP, RAW HONEY

Replace any and all refined processed sugars with any of these sweeteners.

OILS
COCONUT OIL, OLIVE OIL, AVOCADO OIL

Try replacing your vegetable, canola oil with these healthy oils.

DRINKS
WATER, POMEGRANATE JUICE, FRESH FRUIT AND VEGGIE, KEFIR

Drinking water is always the best thing for you. I recommend replacing your soda or juice drinks with water, or fresh juice.

I hope this helps everyone get a better idea of what things to shop for.
